I have never really been a picky eater, but just a word of warning for anyone that has joint inflammation or happens to be pregnant....they are going to force this stuff on you.

And I am here to tell you it's NASTY!

So, just be warned, the "lemon" flavor is all well and good for going down but when the COL burps (as well like to call them) get rolling 15 minutes later, there will be no lemon and all cod liver in the result.

Apparently it's good for tons of stuff, like Oh....making brains and padding joints, but it's terrible. Truly.

So, if this is the most suffering I have to endure during the pregnancy, I'll take it! Thus far, it's been smooth sailing and I intend to keep it that way.

AND to keep taking the tablespoon of vileness every morning...that I remember.

I remember Grandma Landis had lots of this stuff. I never knew it was related to pregnancy, but I guess that makes a lot of sense. I always thought it was inspired by her mother who was a bit of a health food nut. She once tried to give us kids some and that cured us from asking stupid questions for weeks!

I applaud you on the codliver oil venture. Never touched it myself but I was faithful to the pre-n. vitamins. Always intriguing to watch the subtle !?) shift from 'me' to 'we', huh? lovin' you from VA!

You can take this in a pill form - I have one that claims "no fish burbs" on the bottle! :D

I will voich for the pill form as well. The lime-flavored ones (flavored just for the burps) remind me of burping cola, but the Omega Mom ones don't seem to make me burp. They also have Borage Oil, peppermint and ginger in them, and none of those flavors come burpitty-burping. Burp. Burp. Burp. How many times can I say burp in one paragraph?
